Re: "Great African Democrat, But Remember 1982" Barack, What you are forgetting is that although Moi was a dictator, He was a democratically elected leader through the ballot by the people and for the people unlike the colonial rulers who were self imposed so Maumau had a right to fight them. Raila had no right except on the ballot to remove a democratically elected Goverment of Moi the president of Kenya whatsoever. What you are failing to understand is that he is requesting the people of kenya to elect him to the highest seat in Kenya. Does that mean that he should be overthrown in case he is elected which is remote. You can not justify the many people who died in the 1982 coup whose death could be attributed to Raila for his involvement. There are many people who suffered because of this coup and more than 1500 died, How can you justify this. When he was given a position in the Narc goverment what good did he do except demolishing people's houses. How can such a person be trusted with millions of kenyans under his leadership. How sure are we that he is not going to turn the luo against the Kikuyu for example or the Kalenjin? We are talking about a Militia here one who can resort to force if need be.
