Friends, Ladies and gentlemen,

Now that HE The President has dissolved parliament, the baton to bring about change has been passed on to the people.

We must now evaluate all the candidates and come up with the most suitable; the one that can handle the challenges that will come with what we want as a country.

I have been in the fore front for advocacy for change for a long time. I was there when Kibaki short changed us as a country. I had voted for change so that Kenyans could benefit on three cardinal issues;
1. Tribalism; We voted for change so that we could make Kenya less tribal. We wanted a country where we could all leave as brothers and sisters devoid of the tribal tendencies of the past regimes.

Little did we know that Kibaki was firmly rooted in the past, and having been a dear disciple of the late Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, he promptly followed in his footsteps and made a dash to tribalizing all senior appointments in government.

Our hopes as acountry was dashed. Kibaki made a full circle and brought us back firmly to where we thought we wanted to move away from. We now all have that second and final chance to make Kenya less tribal.

2. Corruption. We all wanted corruption dealt with once and for all. But as soon as Kibaki got into State House, him and his team started planning Anglo Leasing and other related scandals.

Corruption became more high tech, to an extent that the NSE became declared as not being a fish market! And yet procceeds from the sale of fish is invested in the NSE. Corruption became a way of life.

We now have that chance that we have all been waiting for to throw these high tech guys out. We must all vote and vote for change.

3. Constitution. We all wanted a new constitution. And Kibaki even promised us one within 100 days. He even went ahead and signed a pact with some man of God called Mutava Musyimi that he will give Kenya a new constitution within 100 days.

Kenyans can now pass their judgement on his promise.

Besides these, we have witnessed a plethora of ineptitude and arrogance from the outgoing CEO. He called us Pumbavu, mafi ya kuku and such like things. He did not know that such a time will surely come.

So, Pumbavus and mafi ya kukus can vote for him. But for the majority of Kenyans who felt slighted, it is time to even the score.

I hence want to appeal to all the agents of change in Komarock, come out and do us proud again; you did it at the referendum which we handsomely won under my leadership in 2005 November. Come out in large numbers and vote for me as your choice for the ODM ticket during the ODM nominations, and again as the next councillor in Komarock.

Lets make it our responsibility. Lets all become part of the process. Eat all the moneys which are now circulating in the hands of wondering desperadoes, but vote for me.

At the presidential level, let us all be agents for our presidential candidate. Make sure everybody comes out to vote for Hon Raila Amolo Odinga as the next president of The Democratic Republic of Kenya.

In that government, I would not mind serving as the next Mayor of Nairobi. Let the people talk.

Thank you and God bless all of us.
