Lucy lost Kibaki five thousand votes in a sentence Lucy Kimani Please from your writing in this site, I know you care less about ODM. To sympathize with losers in ODM is a serious moral downgrade. It is even worse to suggest that they ought to let ODM loose because they stand to loose if PNU wins. In your own words, they will only gain if ODM wins but has nothing, whatever happens to PNU!!!! thanks. This is what Kalembe Ndile meant; You just lost Kibaki 5000 votes by opening your mouth(pen). Anyway the only person who will win or loose in this election are poor kenyan majority who never sleeps in "pajamas" as per Raila Odinga. Those who are used to millions like your group in PNU will always find another way to steal from the poor. Last but not least; NOBODY SHOULD EXEMPT THEMSELVES FROM BLAME ON THE?PRIMARY FIASCO WE JUST WITNESSED. IT HAPPENED IN 2002 AND THIS WAS A REPEAT. NOBODY SAID ANYTHING FOR FIVE YEARS WHEN THEY WOULD HAVE CORRECTED THE PROBLEM. PERHAPS THE REMEDY COULD BE; HAVE ECK RUN AN OPEN GENERAL ELECTION OR ALLOCATE MORE FUNDS FROM TREASURY FOR ECK TO CONDUCT PRIMARIES. I believe this would have been done in the concluded parliament. I know one thing, if they address it right after election of 2002, we would not be in this position. Everyone still had the spirit. These are the changes that must take place when Raila takes over. This will entrench true democracy in Kenya. Primaries?are the first step to?refine who ever becomes the leader. I also know there are other ideas out there to solve this problem if we put our heads together. Kibaki had the best opportunity to show leadership when he took over. This was an immediate problem that needed solution. More time was spent scheming ANGLO FLEEZING, ARTHUR BROTHERS, DAILY NATION AND STANDARD RAID IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT and many other detrimental stuff that did not belong instead. We must take responsibility about things that affect us. We must yell loudly with solutions when things go wrong FIRST TIME but not wait to blame everybody but ourselves when it recurs. Non of the would be leaders in the concluded primaries said or did anything all this time when we knew the problem existed. They all banked on the idea that somebody would be blamed if things went wrong against them. If it went wrong in their favor, things would be fine. In my opinion they were all vultures waiting for the kill. You were one of them and I was one of them. We all did nothing for five years to correct the problem. Let us all now focus on the big ticket. ODM members, if you lost or won, I am appealing to you please, don't let Kenyans down. They want change and ODM is that prescription. Deliver it to them. Thank you once more, may God Bless You. Banda Nyaware Joluo.com Akelo nyar Kager, jaluo@jaluo.com |
