The Pora Na Uendelee Propagandists are lousy even in propaganda.

They are equally lousy in campaign. Never has there been so much fumbling and bumbling in an incumbent. His campaign is devoid of colour, vision (forget the recycled and/or unfulfilled pledges), pomp, team spirit (you only see an individual and a third rate cast of Kalembe, Mungatana, Mwakwere, Nyachae, Michuki, Karua, Saitoti, Kombo etc) Compare that with the Milky Way brilliance of Prof Nyongo, Hon Balala, Hon. Ruto, Hon. Mudavadi, Hon Nyaga, Hon Ngilu , Ababu Namwamba, Orengo Jimmy, Hon Billow Kerrow, Hon. Okemo, Amollo Otiende, and thousand others. The Porojo Na Ukabila team simply represents our ugly past that we must run away from. We must strive for the future and the future is ORANGE.

Like any person drowning, the kitengo cha ukabila wa jamii - Presidential Nepotism Unit - will clutch are any straw in their bid to stay in power. For once, the man is fighting for the seat almost singlehandedly, what with New Ford Kenya, Shirikisho, DP, Mazingira , Safina, pulling in opposite direction over joint nominations.

We wonder if the Old Man retains the Othaya seat but loses the presidency, will he assume his seat in the opposition benches with Hon Uhuru and Co. or will enjoy his twilight years watching his cattle and playing with his grandkids?

ODM Faithfuls and all true democrats need not worry. Democracy is about the majority winning but mature democracy is also about protecting the rights of the minority. In essence, that is the deal between Hon. Raila and Muslims. The problem is an aloof president is just trying to make up for 4 years of remote controlling this great country from State House. May he enjoy his last days there.
