Re: Watu wa kibaki inaonekana wanaamuka It is amazing how people keep saying that you cannot flaunt what you have not done. True but how can we judge without being given the opportunity to show that in deed we can do something? If Raila has to prove what he can do, why not give him a chance and the benefit of doubt. People are so quick to jump to conclusions yet they themselves want to be given a chance again and again. Why not extend the same grace to the other party. Raila gave Kibaki a chance and the benefit of doubt when he declared him tosha! If he had foreknowledge of what was in Kibaki's thoughts you think he would have given him a chance and dutifully campaigned for him? But people with pure hearts look past mistrust until it is presented; that is what Raila did when he declared Kibaki tosha! He looked beyond the norm, he believed that there was some good in Kibaki until he (Kibaki) and others showed him otherwise. So in my belief, Raila would be well with in his rights if he judged Kibaki on what they agreed on as gentlemen that he (Kibaki) neither delivered nor honored, but as of right now, Kibaki is reaping what he sowed and he cannot drag Raila's name on his wrong deeds. Mr. President must take responsibility and own his deeds, good and bad. So much has been said about Raila's incapability without test as a President and I believe this is the time to prove all of you right or wrong, especially for the doubting Thomases. Let us all give this man a chance to show what he's got, come on people each one of you have been given a chance over and over, most wouldn't be where they are if no body gave them a chance! or never extended some grace and thought you were worth something. If some of you (if not most) have screwed up, don't judge everybody else with your screw-up. That is on you, take responsibility for it and rectify it if you have some sense. Let's end armchair speculation and put it all to the test this coming December, and see how Raila transforms Kenya in the next 5 years! And his legacy thereafter! Fear of the unknown always holds us captive. But I believe in the best of everyone until they prove otherwise. But for those who demonise and malign without reason, more power to you as you just show us how less you value yourselves if the only way you find joy and peace is by resorting to negativity. But time for the demonised and maligned is coming, it is coming and no one is going to stop it and it will tell a great story. Happy campaigning days folks.
