Bana Kadori presents their latest compositions that were developed and recorded during their first visit to the United States in August and September of 2007. In this set of songs they continue to develop their signature blend of benga and rumba-a style that they have been championing over the past 25 years starting with their work in the bands of the late Ochieng Kabasseleh.

In 2007 an invitation from the Kenyan Community of Lehigh Valley, based around Allentown, Pennsylvania, brought the group to American shores for the first time. During their visit, Bana Kadori performed frequently on the East coast, entertaining the large communities of Kenyan expatriates who reside there, in addition to making an extended appearance at the Bethlehem Musikfest in Pennsylvania. Significantly, they made the long journey by road to another Kenyan stronghold, the state of Texas, where they were received ecstatically.

One of the highlights of their American tour was a performance in New York at a campaign rally for Kenyan presidential candidate, Raila "Agwambo" Odinga. The title track of this album expresses optimism for the potential that Agwambo can fulfill if he is elected.

The lyrics delve into the public discontent as a result of political inadequacies by the current government, and ultimately motivate Kenyans to vote for Agwambo - "THE PEOPLE'S PRESIDENT"
