Take Raila's Claim Seriously -

The letters to the Electoral Commission by ODM presidential candidate, Mr Raila Odinga, should be taken seriously.

It would be very disappointing for voters to find out they cannot cast their votes because someone had tampered with the voters' register.

Raila claimed six people - from Western, Central and Coast provinces - are working on registers from a strong-room at the Anniversary Towers. This should be investigated.

ECK Chairman, Mr Samuel Kivuitu, says he is not aware of them, yet Raila has gone as far as to provide names.

The ODM candidate successfully unveiled the Artur brothers, so his claims about rigging should not be dismissed too quickly.

Also, President Kibaki should invite more international observers to participate in the General Election. They must be seen to be free and fair.
