Zambia allows ex-president to leave for heart treatment - Why are not Hospital in Independent Zambia to take care of this guy? On 24 October 1964, Zambia secured its independence from United Kingdom. A year before that, Kenya became a free country governed by fellow Africans. For over forty years now, many African leaders have failed to build at least one well equipped hospital where a diagnosis and treatment of a life threatening condition can be handled. Yet, expenditure on military weapons and personnel, used mainly against the citizens, is massive. Most African countries are in debt and most of these debts are due to expenditure on some military gadgets from some foreign arms dealer. Well, Zambian ex-president Mr. Frederick Chiluba is heading to South Africa for treatment. He can afford it. http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20071105/wl_africa_afp/ zambiasafricacorruptionhealthchiluba;_ylt=Avpd8VkcvL_sD2zhPatcWki96Q8F Is there any good reason why it is okay for ruling elites, past and present, to be allowed to travel abroad to get medical attention using the money they have looted from their countries treasuries? Whichever way one chooses to look at the actions of "headless traitors", the fact is, the people benefiting from the massive foreign medical expenditures by these filthy rich elites are the countries, doctors, nurses and shareholders of the hospitals where they travel to to get medical attention!!
