Re: Appeal to Rongo constituents With all due respect Jean, you just dont get it. And with supporters/campaigners like you Hon. Ochillo did not need opponents to play tricks to make him loose the nominations. Even after what you have been seeing (assuming you have been looking, of course) in the past week you still have the audacity to declare Hon. Ochillo's most valuable asset as "having worked closely with Raila and there is no question of his loyalty to him." Am totally shocked! Anyway, this is not to say that I do not value working closely with Raila or being loyal to him. And if this was the yardstick for winning nominations, i doubt any of the outgoing legislators save for Hon Tuju would have been shown the door. Even as they work with others and build loyalties, one thing mps should not forget is their employer, the electorate. One thing you and others who belong to your school of thought must painfully learn is to listen to the electorate. They spoke and it is not too late to start litsening. After reading your article it is now clear to me why Rongo contituents made the wise decision to replace Hon. Ochillo. Patty Adhiambo Joluo.com Akelo nyar Kager, jaluo@jaluo.com |
