In response to Jean Ayacko; tell Ochillo to zip up

I was thoroughly taken aback by the kind of propaganda that one Jean Ayacko is peddling on this site against the nomination of Mr Dalmas Otieno Anyango. She branded Otieno as a Kanu mole planted by Moi in ODM. She claims Otieno will dicriminate against the Awendo people, and that Ochillo could have been nominated instead because he has been loyal to Raila. what a losided analysis?

Who does not know that Ochillo is a creation of Otieno Kajwang' and Raila? What had Ochillo accomplished in Rongo when he was first elected MP? Who did not know that Ochillo could not meet the political march of Otieno if they were to vie in the same party? who did not know that Ochillo was always favoured by party and not personal popularity?

The truth on the ground, whether Jean likes it or not, is that Otieno Anyango had accomplished much more in Rongo interms of development than Ochillo and people recognize this. CDF projects cannot be credited to Ochillo as that is not his initiative, neither are the funds his.

If you demonise Otieno for his past association with Kanu, then you can as well go ahead and do the same with Ruto, Mudavadi, Nyaga, Yinda, etc etc and then we see where that will leave ODM. Even Jakom was once a cabinet minister in Moi's govt. Ochillo's unfortunate and shameful debacle with a respected school teacher's wife has eaten deeply into his popularity in Rongo. Nearly all teachers were against him. Tell me if he could have gone far. the stories of his loose zip are numerous.

People like Jean better shut up and stop belittling the intelligence of this forum by such warped and biased opinions. We are on the ground. we know better.
