Re: We love being lied to (Nyamwamu) Bwana Orina,
You said:
Going by your description of propaganda, I will say Kenya needs
a lot of propaganda to change the perception of Kenyans so that we can build
a better society.
It is interesting that Orina Nyamwamu -a man whose bread is buttered
becuase he is advocating for free speech- has the capacity to throw
aside "what he believes in" and lauch personal attacks. He made no attempt
to address the issues I raised. I see nothing wrong in pointing out that Ruto
and ODM are taking Kenyans for a ride because they want power. I believe that
every citizen has the right to question when leaders flip-flop on issues.
The Ruto that Nyamwamu is defending (judging from the way he dismissed
my concerns) is on record attacking Kibaki for failing to release the Ndung'u
report. He is on record saying that their government will fight corruption.
But here is is claiming that they will not implement the Ndung'u report.

Until recently, Nyamwamu and the NCEC have been pushing Kibaki
to order the implementation of the Ndung'u report. The sudden about-turn by
Nyamwamu is astaunding but expected. I cannot expect him to be against Raila,
Ruto et al because he will be seeking the Bomachoge seat on the ODM ticket.
And we ask what is
wrong with our civil society and why activists fail to deliver when they get
power!
Orina, I am not the only Kenyan who has seen through the ODM wolves
in sheep's pelt. There may be many out there but they may not be as vocal
as me. ODM members can try to lie to women that they will gurantee them inheritance
rights but we know that ODM campaigned against those very rights during the
referendum.
As a reminder take a look at these two stands and tell us who is
fooling who.
