CHAOS IN NYAKACH AS MP FLEES ANGRY CROWD.

Embattled immediate former Nyakach Mp Peter Ochieng Odoyo recently escaped death by a whisker when an angry crowd rained his vehicle with stones protesting the death of a minor who was runned over by the politicians vehicle during a campaign trail in upper Nyakach(Nyamaroka).
 
It all started when the Mp, after the conclusion of his rally embarked on his trademark dishing of paltry handouts to the crowd.In the ensuing scramble for meagre resources,the hapless 17 year old found himself caught up by the speeding former legislator's fuel guzzler car.
 
At the time of going to press,the deceased had been brought to provincial general hospital amid fury and protests in the constituency ahead of the ODM eagerly awaited primaries slated for 16th November 2007.And the Mp was busy in kisumu convening press conference in a bid to avert ramifications occassioned by the tragedy.
 
The former foreign affairs assistant minister is to battle it out with the kisumu city based business magnate Ochieng Daima in what pundits have described as a battle of titans.
 
Meanwhile Mombasa based international business guru Edwin Ochieng Yinda who is contesting Alego Usonga Parliamentary seat is fully set to launch his colourful campaign bid for the vast constituency.
 
Yinda who will be battling with a galaxy of aspirants among them former powerful cabinet minister Oloo Aringo appears to be having a headstart courtesy of his sterling development initiatives in the area.
 
Separately,Kisumu based prominent lawyer John Olago Aluoch almost brought business to a standstill during a campaign trail to woo kisumu town west voters.The lawyer will fight the ODM party nominations with fellow lawyer Juliet Ogejo,Shem Kwega,Rosa Buyu,Joshua Nyamori,Jagero Otiende and immediate former Mp Rev Ken Nyagudi.
