While personally I do not take side in the whole of this debate, the truth is that PNU just like NARC, is another vehicle for DP to regain power. It failed in 1992 and 1997 when it was alone. It is a center right party but because it wanted [and now wants to recapture], it strategically purports to come close to people. Its policies are free market economy oriented - it believes in raw capital and business while profiteering in modern slave labour. Neither ODM nor ODM-K has so far made firm committement for fundamental departure from this paradigm. We need an economy and governance system that secure and benefit human development.
