Re: Deya to be extradicted to Kenya Hello Julius Kioko, In all manner and forms of RESPECT, I have always loved to be part of a debate that is less biased. The fact that Raila had a photograph with Deya does not gurantee any stains his involvement in child trafficking as you do indicate here, though Dr. Mutuas message has no such add, hence provoking Railas sons to such abuse of BIRTH and PARENTAL RIGHTS. Every individual in any part of the globe has taken pictures with different personalities depending on the circumstances. I would advise you to STOP dragging your legs on matters of criminal offences as they are and let law of the land take its route. Unless you have substantial evidence on the linkage of Railas children at the time when he (Raila) was detained then, you better help unturn the truth if that could lead to better investigation than here-say. Let us put politics aside and see the bitter end of Deyas extradiction to Kenya homeland security guards. Hope we all meet at the election time and better we vote wisely.......tinda... http://www.kbc.co.ke/story.asp?ID=46263 This is a lethal issue that should be left to Deyas lawyers should there be any and those of the government and stakeholders.... This is bad news for Raila who has been photographed numerous times with the self-declared bishop. Given what people say about what happened to Raila's undersides in detention, it is not clear if his children are miracle babies begot with bishop Deya's help. Also, with the bishop facing so much legal trouble, it is not clear that the miracles of transformation that Raila has been promising will ever be realized. http://www.kbc.co.ke/story.asp?ID=46263 Deya to be extradited to Kenya, court rules. Written By:Farhia Ahmed. , Posted: Thu, Nov 08, 2007 A London high Court on Thursday ruled that self-exiled archbishop Gilbert Deya be extradited to Kenya and face charges of child smuggling among others. Government spokesman Dr. Alfred Mutua said in his weekly briefing that once extradited, Deya will face tough penalties for the offence. The self-proclaimed cleric has been accused of running a baby smuggling racket where children are miraculously born in Africa and then transported back to Britain. Deya's wife Mary and two other women were jailed in May this year for two years after a Kenyan court found them guilty of stealing a child. Deya hit the headlines with his miracle babies' scandal claiming to successfully pray for barren women to have children with some of them giving birth three times in a year. Government spokesman Dr. Alfred Mutua said Deya's extradition will provide the opportunity to ensure justice is served. Joluo.com Akelo nyar Kager, jaluo@jaluo.com |
