Re:Extreme hatred! From: Absalom Birai There are certain relationships that once entered, are meant to stay for ever. Like which? 1.As per the Bible, the marriage relationship is meant to be "till death do us part." 2.Once people choose to be friends, that kind of relationship is supposed to be long lasting. But as you know, many couples after many years of marriage have for reasons best known to them packed and left.Equally true is the fact that people who used to be intimate friends and were known so for many years have called it quits. God alone knows what went on behind the scenes and therefore all that the outsiders can do is to pray for both parties. That said, there is one behavior that must be discouraged by all-extreme hatred! What do I mean? 1.I have heard, read, and come across cases where the x spouse try to make life hard for the other one by saying all kinds of evil report, interfering with the job,and many other things hard to believe. 2.I have heard, read, and know cases where individuals go on rampage in character assassination, telling everyone how bad so and so was,and posting a report even in the rest rooms. Surely this is not acceptable. Just think about this: 1.The person you are trying to destroy now was at one time your best friend/spouse. 2.During the good old days, this person contributed a lot to your life. 3.If we are still in this world, one day you might need this person or any of his/her family or relatives 4.At the end,you really don't gain anything. To all of us,we will do well to remember the following: 1.God tells us to leave revenge to Him.He is an expert in this area. 2.Let us treat everyone the same way we want to be treated. 3.If you have something against your X or former friend, please follow the Biblical solution as found in Mathew chapter 18. Shall we? Just a thought. www.ThemaranathaSDAchurch.org Joluo.com Akelo nyar Kager, jaluo@jaluo.com |
