Re: One mistake after another Dear friends, There is no question that we all at one time have made a mistake. Obviously the noble thing to do after realizing that is to apologize and move on. What puzzles me is that there are some people who make one mistake after another thus causing untold pain to their loved ones and themselves. Note the following situations: 1.There are people who are not able to keep a job. Any time you talk to them,or come across them, they are looking for another job. As you can imagine this situation leads to serious financial problems. 2.There are students who are always in trouble for misbehaving. As soon as they are out of one trouble, another one is waiting. Parents are just about to give up. 3.There are people who are known to cause trouble at either their homes or the community. 4.There are people who always go to work late. No amount of warnings seem to make any sense to them. 5.There are people who seem to be working so as to pay for the traffic tickets. Before they are done paying for one ticket, they are served with another. 6.There are people who entertain the thoughts that they are always right. This they do even when everyone else tells them that they are wrong. 7.How about going to church? Always late regardless of the appeal from the pulpit to be on time. 8.How about returning to God what belongs to Him? Well,is there any cure in all these? Yes,indeed! Let those of us who find ourselves in any of the above try the following prescribed medicine. 1.Let us weigh all the consequences before we embark on doing anything. 2.Let us entertain "yes we can" attitude. Any changes are possible if we decide to work on it. 3.Those things that we are not to do by ourselves, our God is more than able to help us do them. The big question of course is "Are we willing?" Just wondering. Joluo.com Akelo nyar Kager, jaluo@jaluo.com |
