TIME FOR RONGO VOTERS TO GO FOR NEW LEADERS.

Its time Rongo costituecy voters to go for a new leaders rather than recircle old ones.Dalmas Otieno Anyango have won the ODM nomination beating the former Mp Ochilo Ayacko. Dalmas is a former MP of the constituency and I feel that the Rongo electorates didnt think right in allowing him to come back to the political scene.
 
While other constituecies are going for fresh blood, we are seeng history repeating itself in Rongo costituecy. Rongo voters should ask themselves what position Dalmas took during the long struggle to free this counrtry of the single party rule of which he was a beneficiary. Rongo voters had a wide choice of candidates which included Omondi Akoth, Mama Agnes Awinja, Prof. Erick Otieno and others.
 
Rongo constituents will remember the pathetic peformance of the areas economic powerhouse  Sony Sugar during the tenure of the former Mp. It will also be recalled the brutal nature of the alleged suppoters of the former Mp. The death of Awndo based herbalist still rings a bell in the minds of most people.
 
Dalmas otieno was one of the first Luo leaders to oppose multypatry politicts in luo Nyanza. He said at that time that this was a Jaramogi way of misleading the luo community. Today he is one of the beneffiaries of the same system he opposed so bitterly.Rongo voters should not have a short memory , what makes them think that Dalmas will be speaking a different language once he will be in parliament? Rongo voters should remember that Once a traitor always a traitor. Why was Dalmas Otieno sent away from attending the burrial of the former powerful Internal Security Ps the late Hezekiah Oyugi? is it not because of the traitor tiltle?. And apart from helping educate few friends and relatives children, what significant thing did Dalmas do to the Rongo Electorates?
 
Rongo electorates must wake up. We should not keep on repeating the same mistakes over and over again. Lets go the path of Nyakach, Uriri, and other constituecies which rejected the old bad leadership in favour of new leadership.
