Re: We need to avoid hatred campaigns...after all Kenya is for all of us Lucy Kimani wrote: He he LOL!!! You must really think we are fools to buy into this gabbage! Is this the best you can do? How pathetic!!!!! As a friend said on reading this, and I repeat! ' "RUBBISH" Steve Aseno wrote: Wana-Kenya, Look here below. This is how their tempers get to be. HOT HOT HOT! If I was in the presence of this person, I'd be hacked to death. If birds of the same feathers flock together, here they are....CHUKI. My question: Why is the government silent? How much longer are they going to be silent? Is there anything positive or any help/thoughtfulness that you can throw into this issue other than "insults!!!!!!! Birds of the same feathers....let's watch your next insults...rubbish, gabbage, mavi ya kuku, pumb..... they are all the same. That's their speciality & intelligence. NO WONDER, MATUNDA HAS FINALLY & SILENTLY KICKED ME OUT OF AFRICA OPED GROUPS. WHY? WHAT CRIME DID I COMMIT? THE TRUTH IS BITTER & THE TRUTH WILL PREVAIL. Steve Aseno. Lucy Kimani wrote: MORE RUBBISH!!!!! Truly, This is unfounded baseless arguement that one William "Bill" Olentimama of the "lie low like an envelop" fame used in Enosupukia. What happened after was chaos. We do not need this kind of hate campaign that is being used to sensitize people for wrong reasons. In Kenya, criminals break out of cells. This is true today in US as is in Kenya. Did you watch news on CNN or Fox etc last night regarding the two "Fugitives" who broke out of a highly secure cell in New Jersey few days ago. Who were they meant to kill. Duh! Surely, stop coining every type of arguement and reading political mischief even where none exists. Let us focus on real issues that have basis and facts. The rest is heresay from "very informed sources". This is the way of gutter press in Nairobi which causes panic and confusion. I think we can do better. Njoroge wa Gitomeh Mwalimu wa SAP Lucy, I try to refrain from hatred such as this one. The initial e-mail was addressed to a group of Kenyans, but apparently you turned it into something personal.(personal attack) I already feel like "I just got a slap on my cheeks" from another Lucy coz your anger cannot go un-noticed. Kenyans are concerned about the government's silence about this stage managed exit of "death convicts". Instead of offering any suggestions, all you can ever say is "rubbish"! I guess that word rubbish has been lingering in your head for a long time; awaiting for a venue to have it released. Thanks for releasing what's in your up-stairs.(head) If you got more to unleash, please go ahead....but you make PNU look bad. You ought to respond with some substance. I guess the security of kenyans is a non-issue to you. Thanks for the insults.I choose not to insult you lest I look insane. Well, I'll be praying for you & God bless you. At the end of the day, we are ALL Kenyans. We deserve better security & we should learn not to hate one another. Lucy's response is unfortunate. Lucy, pardon me for touching your raw-nerve. I hope you have a goodnight sleep....and one of these days, I hope to meet you as friend....we might one day be "muthanias' or "nyasharas"..so, let's be at peace with one another. Shall we? Otherwise, I now join Miguna Miguna, Nick Mireri & others who have been kicked out of africa oped groups by matunda because of their boldness to speak the truth. matunda, thanks for allowing me to participate in the forum. My new voice of "silence" shall continue to speak the truth which can never be silenced. Kicking me out of the forum makes me know that my contributions were worthwhile. God bless you all. Steve Aseno. Steve Aseno wrote: Mwalimu Njoroge, It's wise to focus more on the bigger issue; which is the governments silence on this kind of insecurity. Nobody said that this is true....I dont know how you understand my english. Lucy misunderstood it. All I'm asking is: Why is the government silent about this? can we tolerate a government who doesnt give any priority to the insecurity of her citizens. Kenya is not America....the security forces here work more swiftly & there's no "Kerusoi" in America or "Mt. Elgon". Let's not compare them just for the sake of it. What's your take? Should the government say something about this situation? In their absence, those words in RED are circulating all over Kenya because of the governments silence. Shall we allow this to continue or like Lucy...just give it a slap on the face & say "rubbish"? Do Kenyans deserve a response? Yes or No? Why the silence? In the absence of governments response, the word on the streets keep circulating and that's very dangerous. That's all I said. Thanks for your concern though. I hope you now understand me better. Peace to all deserving Kenyans. Tuko pamoja. THIS TRUTH JUST SAW ME BEING KICKED OUT OF kenya_can@egroups.com in addition to being kicked out of africa-oped@yahoogroups.com WHY? For fear of the truth. Steve Aseno. Gitomeh Njoroge wrote: Steve, There is no fear of truth here. We donot fear truth, as a matter of fact we do like it. However, we should be cautious of politicians who are trying to out-do each other through this hate campaign (whether through media, internet or e-mails). Both ODM and PNU are guilty about this. Yet we from an observation point of view can tell what is mature talk and what is 'sensational' campaign trying to attract voters on their side. I believe we can go beyond this. In this case, I think this is a document from one of the ODM friendly campaigners. Totally, unsubstantiated. Do we want the govt to answer such e-mails? Would you? I dont think so. Njoroge wa Gitomeh Mwalimu wa SAP From: Steve Aseno The government should not respond to suppossed propaganda...but "at least" the government should have said something about that situation in the wake of these negative words on the streets. These words on the streets if taken lightly are the causes of hatered, disunity, ethnic cleansing & many many evils in our land. Why the silence is the big question. Response to the silence is enough to bring confidence, foster peace, dispel propaganda etc. Why the silence? A serious government ought to respond. see for instance, Kibaki getting very close to the war torn Mt. Elgon and says nothing about the situation....they wait until Raila visits the area in order for michuki to make a follow-up visit the very next day after Raila's visit. It's been months & lives have been lost. Why the slow response? The perpatrators of violence like Nyachae goes skotch free, a GK carrying crude weapons is now "a distant memory"....all these election violence (ODM or PNU) what has the govt done to bring the criminals to justice? Nothing! That's my concern. They dont have to answer any e-mails but they should speak out & take appropriate action. ...and that's the TRUTH I'm talking about. It's time. Thanks for your concern.
