ABUSING THE VOTING PUBLIC TO EXERT ARISTOCRATIC REGIME Date: Sat, 29 Dec 2007 23:56:54 -0500 From: Lucia Akech The Kenyans who formed those snake- like -queues were hard working ordinary people who have seen the price of a packet of milk rising from 2 to 60 shillings. These are the same people facing unemployment or stagnant salaries while being told there is growth in Kenya's economy. These are not lazy people waiting for foreign handouts by any imagination. Millions of shillings were spent during the campaigns to solicit the votes from these poor citizens- the amount spent was large enough to construct those impassible roads that have become death traps to Kenyans traveling back and forth through them. Some of these very people may have lost their lives on their way to polling stations because of the road conditions. At the end of the voting episodes, some of these voters are now being told that their voting efforts do not mean a thing to the power brokers, Please, think very carefully before you spin what is happening. The real losers in what is going on in Kenya right now are the voting public. They are the ones the GSU are now aiming at. The elite power brokers are in their safe dens and will soon go behind closed doors to continue with their usual scams. The rioting and the looting are being done by low life criminals who, like the elite scam artists, have no respect for the laws. The overt looting by these thugs is just as ugly as the ones done by the elites running the government and their friends. The latter is called "white collar criminals" because their type of looting is done behind closed doors where the GSU cannot access. The younger Kenyans must stop allowing themselves to be used as the punching bags by elite tribal baiters who are no better than those "overt looters" we saw in the streets. Kenyan youths must reclaim the sovereignty of this rich and beautiful republic which is an envy of the world. Otherwise, this nation will be controlled by the wealthy elite tribal baiters who do not give a damn about Africans living it! Tribalism is just a tool by these ruling elites to control the masses. They are using tribal tools against the very people they pretend to be protecting. If there is a superior tribe in Kenya who feels it cannot be under the presidency of another tribe, then Kenya must be split so that other tribes can form their own self governments. Kenya must stop being a monarchy or authoritarian regime. No one tribe should have the right to make other lives hell on earth!!! Those dishing out this kind of atmosphere are actually African elites in power. If Africans cannot protect Africans in their own countries, I do not know who can!!!!
