Why No to Raila and ODM!!!! Lucy Kimani wrote: 1. Deplorable performance as Minister for Roads and Transport 2. Deplorable performance as MP for Langata 3. With no development record how will ODM manage to hit the promised 10% economic growth? 4. Inexperience, how can ODM be expected to run the country effectively when they cannot even run a primary election successfully? How will it manage the infinitely more complex majimbo system? 5. Presiding over voter disenfranchisement by issuing certificates of nomination to ODM losers 6. How can ODM be an agent of democratic advancement when it cannot practice democracy within its own organization? Just look at the number of candidates locked out even when they won! 7 Lack of clear articulation of ODM manifesto, ODM tabled what was called a manifesto that the presidential candidate laboured to present recently in Nairobi ; all that came and was reported from that presentation was: trust me! Nothing but this call stood out from the manifesto! Well ... trust is what the candidate is seeking; trust in this candidate keeps eroding by the day, given both his actions and history. At the crucial time of nomination fiasco, for example, the candidate was nowhere to be seen! It is like the kitchen was too hot! And he got out only to come back when others had taken the heat! A leader has to be with his/her troops in both good and bad times! 8. Disrespecting Kenyan laws and insulting Kenyans' intelligence vis-vis Dick Morris 9. Tainted and corrupt individuals among ODM Pentagon team. 10. ODM is the home of warlords such as Ole Ntimama, Henry Kosgey, William Ruto, and others who have been linked to violence in Kericho, Enoosupukia, Nandi Hills, Kondoo Farm, Burnt Forest, Molo, Laikipia, Cherangani, Mashangwe, and Likoni. See: www.fidh.org/IMG/pdf/Kenya_engNB.pdf 11. A campaign that is critique-based more than issues-based with promises that lack in practicality 12. Introduction of Tribal divide Majimboism 13. Introduction of Religious divide with Muslims via MOU. As one notable muslim lawyer surmised: the rights of muslims should be enshrined in a constitution, not the subject of MOUs for votes. MOUs should not be supplements for the law. 14. MOU's should not compromise the ability of government to fight terrorism. 15. Poor response to PNU scathing propaganda!!!!! KAZI IENDELEE!!!!!!!!
