Vs: Important Update: Kenya suspends live tv broadcasts -local tv says --- odhiambo okecth wrote: We are all in agreement that Hon Raila Amolo Odinga has won the race for the presidency with an overwhelming mandate from Kenyans. This is the time Hon Mwai Kibaki could redeem his image, and stand up in true democratic spirit and concede, congratulate Raila, and set up the handing over process. But what the president and his team are doing currently does not inspire any confidence. Instead, it is creating unnecessary tension among Kenyans. It makes us start looking at him and his team with suspicion, and that is not good now. The end result will be loss of life and property, which could have been avoided had the president acted on time and conceded defeat. Kenyans will not accept any attempts at panel beating our democratic rights, for we have spoken and given Raila that mandate to be our next CEO. We are the people, and the voice of the people is the voice of God. Kenya suspends live tv broadcasts -local tv says 30 Dec 2007 17:17:36 GMT Source: Reuters NAIROBI, Dec 30 (Reuters) - Kenya's government ordered all live broadcasts suspended indefinitely on Sunday, as violent protests raged over the disputed results of its presidential election, local TV said. The order came in a directive from Internal Security Minister John Michuki, broadcaster NTV said. To ODM Supporters around the globe, We just have to have good contact with ODM supporters in the GSU, Police and Army, that can save a lot of blood splitting to our people. We know who the enemy is so let us face it. I am pro Sebastian suggestion on the funding to see things go forward. So the Diaspora ODM supporters let us join hands plus brains on the way forward. I think Raila should also be sworn in by people just as Kibaki has done and let the people move to state house to demand either new election or Kibaki`s resignation. Paul Nyandoto.
