Tomorrow December 12 is Kenya's Jamhuri Day, the day we achieved our independence from Britain. Our first liberation. President Kibaki will be presiding over the Jamhuri Day celebrations tommorow, his last major national official function as Head of State during his first term. We are all looking forward to the Jamhuri day of December 12,2008 with Engineer Raila Amollo Odinga as Head of State and CIC. That will be an important occasion that will mark the third and final liberation of Kenya from the shackles that have beleaguered the nation since independence. Tinga should start crafting his speech for that day, twelve months down the road. What will his government have achieved? What will he be telling Kenyans on that auspicious occasion.
