It is time Kenyanas declared their Independence

Today, Nairobi City has been taken over by the police. Any visitor to town would think we are under police control.

If elections were to be won in such desperate manners, then it would be better we are told that our decisions as a voting citizenry is not of any value.

It would also be important to tell all our development partners that we no longer believe in democracy and the rule of law.

To that extent, all Kenyans of good will, must stand up and be counted. Let Kibaki not put Kenya on fire just because he is so desperate to continue being our president.

The people have spoken, and the people will do all that it takes to secure and defend all our democratic gains.

After all, Kibaki never helped us to secure those gains.
