A peace vigil has been suggested and it is a good idea?what is the status now? The memorial is good and I hope it will reach out to all Kenyans and most importantly this generation. I bet those maiming Kenyans, killing our people and destroying property aren't mum and dad. It is us. we need to reach out to them. I was also thinking we would add a photo exhibition on all the captured moments, videos, narrations especially from victims more so youth and kids for a healing process and to recapture a regeneration of nationhood and unity. We would then make donations to those affected and even have a monument to remind us in the future for the need to protect democracy and justice while fiercely guarding our human rights. Over to you Kenya Douglas --------------- caroline wrote: Dear Robert, Hello and I hope you are fine and well and I am gald because of the wanakazi forum, you ahve created and it is like sunshine in a storm. Robert I am not writing for a job vacancy but I am throwing a proposal to you and you can samabaza it to the rest and get the replies. My proposal is that a memorial place to be set for all the people who lost their lives during the post election violence. poeple will send in photos and the memorial place cna be set up within the city of Nairobi or without lest we forget the God given peace that God has given us. The aim of this memeorial is to always remind Kenyans that peace surpusses tribal boundaries or political boundaries. Please sambaza this proposal becasue I feel this is the best way to forgive and forget becasue bitterness is a bitter root. God bless you. yours Caroline Joluo.com Akelo nyar Kager, jaluo@jaluo.com |
