"THY KINGDOM COME, THY WILL BE DONE ON EARTH" NO RIGGING IN HEAVEN WHY HERE I have done a lot of soul searching of late as a Seventh-Day Adventist on how to respond to the kenya situation. I have prayed that God show me the way and if not forgive me for being lost of my stand. As a christian Jesus told us to pray saying,"Let thy kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven and Thy will be done on earth." In heaven there is no rigging but JUSTICE and therefore as a Christian God's kingdom come when we do not rig or resist those who have done it :Therefore it is a legitimate practice for all Christians to bring Kibaki's illegitimate government to down. I therefore find Paul Kanjau statement on appropriate Christian respond misleading :Let Christians not confuse ignorance for holliness, yes it is Gos who choose leaders but he has chose voting as the means and therefore Kibaki is not chosen. Where justice is denied, where poverty is enforced, where ignorance prevails, and where any one class is made to feel that society is an organized conspiracy to oppress, rob and degrade them, neither persons nor property will be safe. - Frederick Douglass.
