RE: Kenya: Opposition Officials Helped Plan Rift Valley Violence

I come from Eldoret and i wish to set the record straight on the so called geocide planned by ODM. This is a public stunt to seek sympathy from the locals and international community and to specifically discredit the kalenjins. Unlike any others community in the republic of kenya the kalenjins have been very accomodating to various ethinic groups in rift valley. The kikuyus alone total over 2 million in rift valley.

I do not know of any other community in kenya that houses so many people outside their ancentral home besides nairobi that is largely cosmopolitan.

On the subject of the planned genocide, i wish to state that if that was the case the casualities/loss would have been in thousands and today there would be no single camps of displaced people in rift valley.

The report presented is based more on hear says than on tangible evidence. The case of kisumu is more solid on genocide evidence with the police commissioner going on record that the would use life ammunitions on unharmed civilians.

The report in my view is pure trash and is meant to defocus the people from the main issue.
