1)Fickle behaviour is to be expected from Eastern Province (Kivuitu,Kalonzo,Kilonzo,etc) Why, even Ngilu has been very silent?!!
 
2)Church leaders cannot be politicians. Witness their deafening silence (Njue,Musyimi,etc) as soon as things started going sour, when they were most needed.
 
3)Shemeji (Tuju,Mungatana,Kirwa,Mutua etc married into the royal tribe) sycophancy is a very very powerful weapon. These non Kikuyus have stood by the nude Kikuyu Emperor noisily insisting he is wearing a suit despite even the risk of being 'tyred' by their own constituents ! Pussy power rules !
 
4)There are still Kikuyus (Kiai,Githongo,etc) who have the strength to 'betray' the Mumbi cohesiveness on a matter of principle. Unfortunately Ngugi wa Thiongo is not one of them and Wangari Maathai's voice was loud only against Moi.
 
5)All the religious and Western educational teachings are not strong enough to overcome the hypocrisy (and lack of a sense of truth) that arises from being born out of wedlock.
 
6)The sinners (and those who are accessories after the fact) have simply ensured that there will be an adequate supply of cannon fodder (in their seed) in future for proponents of the Hershey Highway. Mr Cause & Effect has a way of applying natural justice in these kind of situations where the the innocent may end suffering inordinate collateral damage.
