RE: WHAT ARE KENYANS FIGHTING FOR? Sun, 20 Jan 2008 03:40:17 -0500 From: Lucia A J.K. LELEITTO SANG; Other tribes must hang together to effect the desired change. If they do not, they are going to have their balls handed to them on plates to eat. This is because Kibaki, his cronies and the looters associated with them are not going down easily. The rigging of the election and the appearance of Museveni troops in Western Kenya did not begin on 12/27/07, the day of the elections. This was a well planned and executed strategy by this group. The western powers supporting this group are not interested in a popularly elected government (a populist government). As long as Kibaki can recruit flunkies from other tribes like Wetangula, Kalonzo Musyoka, Tuju and Wako they will remain in business for some time. It will be up to other tribes as well as those well intentioned Kikuyus, if there are any, to form impenetrable unity to effect changes . Kenya is a beautiful piece of property that can enjoyed by all tribes. There is enough land in Kenya to accommodate all Kenyan tribal families who I believe can live in peace with one another. The problem is the foreign interests do not want a united Kenya because of their desire to control Kenya's natural resources in exchange for financial aids. They vision a Kenya with a strongman from a particular tribe working for their interests and this has been going on since the illusive independence of 1963. These powers are not interested in the development of Kenya or Africa. If that was the case, the resources exploited from Kenya and many African countries would have been more than enough to develop that continent. All you find everywhere in Kenya ,as in many countries in Africa, are massive slum building projects where young people are doomed! These slums are camps with no running water and open sewage. They are public control camps where the ruling elite forces can violently descend upon the poor citizens to control any uprising. GSU chaps are now performing that control act in Mathare and Kibera. The GSU's salaries and weapons used by them are paid for by foreign aids money. Anybody interested in knowing who is behind the current problems in Kenya must follow the sources of foreign aids. UN is part of the problem.------ Kibaki and his cronies are not acting alone, they have big players from other countries behind the scene. That is why they are so defiant. The young Kenyan visionaries must unite to take control of their destiny because tribalism is a dictator's control tool. Joluo.com Akelo nyar Kager, jaluo@jaluo.com |
