Kibaki's strategy is "total surrender by ODM. To accomplish that, the LUOs who have been demonized by the media both local and international will be dealt with accordingly while the mediation is going on.

So, Kibaki, his cronies and his international supporters are not going to LISTEN TO ANY COMPLAINTS from this tribal group.

In a negotiation, the weaker partner has no options other than surrender. If the adversary appears to be strong, the opponent has to find some soft area and weaken the opponent by disabling that soft spot first in order gain the upper hand.

The key is, gaining the upper hand in a negotiation. I do not see any reason why there would be fresh uprising in Nyanza other than the desire by the Kibaki group of hitting the Luos so hard in order to soften and defeat "jatelo".

Repeat: They are going deal with the Luos so severely in order to force their leader to kiss the ground. The domino effect will then follow.

Should they succeed, our condition is going to be worse than it was prior to election.
