Kenya protesters to mount boycott Date: Fri, 18 Jan 2008 16:03:06 GMT OPADO saw this story on the BBC News website and thought you should see it. ** Message ** EU, IT'S GOOD YOU HAVE STARTED TO WAKE UP, FOR THE MUNGIKI REGIME HAS BEEN USING KENYAN AID FUNDS TO BUILD IRON SKETCHED HUTS TO COW KENYAN YOUTHS WITH CHEAP LABOUR IN THE SLUM. MAJORITY OF KENYAN GRADUATES EARN AROUND 3 EURO AT THE INDUSTRIAL AREA. WITH THIS MONEY, HE HAS TO PAY THE MUNGIKI REGIME FOR ROOM, WATER, PARAFFIN, AND TOILET DAILY. IT IS FOR THESE REASONS THAT YOU CAN SEE THE YOUNG BURNING THE SLUM. IT IS A WAY TO SAY THAT THEY HAVE BEEN EXPLOITED ENOUGH. THE MUNGIKI YOUNG ARE MASTER WHEREVER THEY LIVE. THEY BUY LAND FROM OTHER TRIBES WITH NO SOURCE OF EARNINGS. AFTER THEY START TO EDUCATE YOU ON THE LANDLAW SOMETIMES THEY DENY THE TRUE OWNER ACCESS TO THEIR LAND AND THEY DO THAT IN ALL PARTS OF KENYA. THEY TAKE KENYANS AS STUPID AND LAZY PEOPLE WITH A LOT OF IDEAS WHICH WILL NEVER WORK BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO MONEY AND, THEREFORE, THEY ARE AS GOOD AS DEAD-opado ** Kenya protesters to mount boycott ** Kenya's opposition vows to boycott government-linked firms as a final day of mass rallies claims at least five lives. http://news.bbc.co.uk/go/em/fr/-/2/hi/africa/7195307.stm Joluo.com Akelo nyar Kager, jaluo@jaluo.com |
