RE: ALTERNATIVE SOLUTIONS TO KENYA'S STALEMATE: Secession, Constitutional Reform, Military Coup Tue, 22 Jan 2008 21:21:33 EST Dear sir, While it remains to be seen what is ahead of Kenya, I would strongly oppose the military rule. Our military should be highly recommended for their stand during these hard trying times. They understand their role - to defend the country - I hope that Kenyan court should uphold the rule of law! No one is above the law in Kenya. Those policemen who have committed murders against innocent Kenyans should and must stand trials along with those who gave the "shoot to kill" orders. Everyone in Kenya wants the restoration of the rule of law - something that the " real president elect " Raila wants to do. Kenya does not belong to the Kikuyus or the Luos. Kenya if for all Kenyans- a united Kenya - Why does Kibaki wants to hold on to power? Is he hiding some things that might have him in court to answer - things like, who was behind Tom Mboya's murder. Mr. Kibaki please give Kenyans their voice - they voted you out along with your 19 or 18 cabinet ministers! By the way, what are Ugandan forces doing in Kenya? Are you trying to drag the country into a civil war? Are you thirsty for blood? You know that your Kikuyu tribe stand no chance against the rest of the country. So save yourself and those with you by relinquishing what does not belong to you. I hope you take heed. - Ochieng Joluo.com Akelo nyar Kager, jaluo@jaluo.com |
