CDMK Supports the country wide mass ODM Pro-Majimbo Demonstration call from January 16-18 2007:

Press Statement from the desk of of Christian Democratic Movement of Kenya.

Following our January 1 2008, statement urging all Kenyans and friends to hold peaceful demonstrations across the world against an illegitimate government of Mr Kibaki, we again wish to thank all you who actually supported the call and swiftly acted for the sake of Justice, Peace and democracy.

Our hearts goes to the innocent Kenyans, children, women and men, who lost their lives in the process of fighting for the rights, through the brutal killings by the illegal Kibaki government security forces, under insanity order to shoot to kill from the same.

Their deaths and the blood are the manure and water for the liberty battle to liberate our country from tyrant African civilian coup d’état leader, the 76 years old Kibaki. We however, call upon the future of ODM-Majimbo government, after taking power, to bring to book all the, indivituals and security officers who participated in the massacre of the innocent Kenyans. And further compensate all lives and properties lost.

PRO-MAJIMBO BLOCK PEACEFUL MASS DEMONSTRATION:

The CDMK urge all the Pro-Majimbo regions to come out in masses to stand and defend democracy by making their voices heard internationally in the ODM-Pro- Majimbo mass demonstrations and rallies scheduled from January 16 2008 till Kibaki steps down, to take place at:
1) Coastal Majimbo block, Tononoka Grounds (Mombasa and Voi Stadium (Voi),
2) Nyaznza Majimbo block, Kisumu Sports Grounds (Kisumu), Ahindi Gardens in Siaya. and Gusii Stadium (Kisii).
3) Rift Valley Majimbo block, Afraha Stadium (Nakuru), Sixty-Four Stadium (Eldoret), Kipchoge Keino (Kapsabet), Green Stadium (Kericho), and Narok Showground (Narok)
4) Western Majimbo block, Muliro Gardens (Kakamega) and Kanduyi Stadium (Bungoma),
5) Central Majimbo block, Ruringu Stadium (Nyeri),
6) Eastern Majimbo Block, Moi Stadium (Embu), Mulu Mutisya Gardens (Machakos),
7) North Eastern Majimbo block Garissa Showground (Garissa),
We call upon all the civil societies organizations,( COTU, SONU, KNUT and many others) to likewise join the country wide mass demonstrations at their respective Jimbos.

We do hereby also urge all the jobless Kenyans to come out in large numbers in all the Jimbos to make their job application by contributing in supporting the mass demonstrations, to pave way for the ODM-Majimbo government which will create jobs and investments for them all, since the current illegal Centralize Ethnic government being run by grandparents, recycled corrupt elements from the last 3 dirty regimes, compromise of economical and criminals against humanity has no future plan for Kenya.

Meanwhile, the CDMK also calls upon all the Christians, Muslims, Hindus and any other faith based organizations to fully participate at all the designated regions to demonstrate in solidarity with ODM-Pro-Majimbo, offering prayers and fasting to God to bring down the evil and illegal government of Kibaki.

We also called upon all those who were caught in the post-election violence to come to their right minds and denounce Kibaki and his illegal administration and support the ODM-Majimbo country wide mass demonstration, as the only avenue for their quick resettlement back to the homes.

We urge the security forces to stop taking illegal orders of shoot to kill, to harass and frustrate the peaceful and legal demonstration of Kenyans, against the dictatorial government.

The CDMK also warn the Police Commissioner Mr Ali, that he will be brought to book to answer charges of crime against humanity, whether in Kenya or at International Criminal Court (ICC), the Hague, Netherlands, alongside with others.

It has been brought to our understandings that the Kenya security forces are planning to further commit assassinations and massacres of the prominent Kenyans Politicians, civic societies and Human Right activists, it is in the light that Mr Maina Kiai, the Human Right Commissioner life has already been threatened by the governement security agents, we want those who are planing the act to be arrested immiditely.

ODM-MAJIMBO Government to be installed at the Local Authorities immediately: We therefore, urge all the local authorities’ country wide, from the county councils, towns and cities to immediately take control of all the revenues collections and stop forthwith remitting taxes to the Central Government till this illegal government resigns. The counties should be converted into interim ODM-Majimbo governments, till the new people constitution is enacted.
