Re: We shall overcome ! Wed, 30 Jan 2008 05:31:27 -0800 (PST) Dear fellow Kenyans, I have always believed and still do that Kenya is a very peaceful country. Whether what we are seeing is a result of election or not, will be left to all to discuss, evaluate, compare notes and come up with their own conclusions. Not that we hate one another and do not want to co-exist. If anything, since independence,we have always struggled as Kenyans to built our country and have co-existed. What is coming out though is the fact that deep in our hears we have had some genuine concerns that no one provided a satisfaction solution. Kenya by the way is not the first one to react in such a manner. Many countries before us have gone through a similar, if not worse experiences. Yes,we have a problem and its rather very sad that our pain, anger, and frustration has, 1.Led to the death of many innocent lives. 2.Led to the destruction of property. 3.Led to the displacement of the majority poor and innocent ones 4.Made us a public mockery In the end, I strongly believe that after we have reasoned and come up with a working solution, we will live together once again as we have always done. Yes,I know that Kenya is a God loving country and that with God's help, we shall sure overcome some day. Don't you think so? Just a thought. I will sure continue praying for our beloved country. Blessings to each one of you. Pr Birai Joluo.com Akelo nyar Kager, jaluo@jaluo.com |
