Re: Luos Way Forward Wed, 16 Jan 2008 19:27:19 -0800 (PST) Stephen Ochichi, Too much politics sometimes is dangerous. However, if it is the way forward for a government to function, we just have to keep the fire of politics burning. I'm more of a scientist than any other thing. But my instinct do always tell me to participate in democratization process of our country. Democracy is hard to achieve. Many people die on the way before democracy can really be realized. Going back to your suggestion to the luo community for a way forward, I think there are some fundamental things you are lacking. I can see you have roundly accused the Odinga's family for the backwardness of luo community. Let me draw it to your attention that luos are one of the most successful and prosperous Kenyan community if you did not know despite all the wounds that have been inflicted on us by the previous administration. What Raila has been fighting for and that which was not finished by his father is democracy. We luos we like transparency and equality. If this is what you confuse with power , then I might as well classify you to have originated from the 7th Galaxy. Your line of argument take us several years back. Ochichi, I'm skeptical about your identity and I just want set records straight. Jaluo.com is open to everybody and all tribes as you know Kenya is a multitribal state. Personification or identity theft is not the best thing. You have repeatedly misspelt some words that a true luo will avoid misspelling. Look at these words: Ondinga, Rarienda and Royal. Now go back to your original message and see what I mean. Please these mistakes are mostly common to a particular community in Kenya and I'm suspicious. Please just be honest with yourself. We will listen to you whichever community you are from. That is why in Jaluo.com, we are democrats.
