YOUR EXCELLENCY THE PRESIDENT

Your excellency, you know just as anyone in Kenya knows that you stole the just concluded presidential election.You were sworn in at dusk in a hurried excessive that was attended by few selected friends most of whom had lost in parliamentary elections and you emerged out of the exercise guilt ridden. You felt guilty and remains so and as such you should be held culpable for the deaths and wanton destruction we witnessed soon after you stole the election.
 
Having stolen the election and unleashed ruthless police on the voters who were demanding for truth having handed you defeat in the said election, how do you plan to rule, exercise justice and equality and  bring national healing and reconciliation when many politicians around you, many of whom lost their parliamentary seats, are preaching the gospel of hate?
 
It is very clear to most of us that you are not in control of anything.You appear tired, disinterested, indifferent and once in a while bullish. Your excellency, your public posture is a cause for worry. We have everything to worry about and nothing to hope for except divine intervention.
 
You are a man who does not deserve trust. In fact you should not be trusted by anyone except your wife and your kitchen cabinet. You are now inviting ODM to what you call Government of National Unity, Your Excellency, is this so called GNU not the same thing you constructed following 2002 general elections promising to unite the country in view of developing all regions equally, only to to shortchange men and women who worked hard for your re-election? What in the GNU you now propose will be different from the GNU were had in the last five years? I guess the GNU you now talk of is just the same the last one. The last GNU as you know failed because it was selective in allocation of development resources, hiring and firing of civil servants and security officers, awarding of scholarships and promotion of civil servants. Your government made Kenyans not to trust you hence, their overwhelming voting to defeat you. No one will ever trust you!
 
Do you still remember Your Excellency that you were elected  in 2002 to fight corruption? To ask you to tell Kenyans how successful you were is unfair having in mind that many corrupt deals were initiated and executed by your close friends in government. You know about Anglo-Leasing, purchases that never happened and/or real amounts of money spent that were exaggerated and  the unsolved Goldenberg rip off just to mention a few, how would you like us to judge your performance regarding these issues of corruption? While you assume that you have done well in fighting corruption, Kenyans know otherwise. You failed to fight corruption by failing to seal loopholes in the government that corruptors and corruptees use to do their business. You also failed to bring to justice architects of Goldenberg rip off and Kenyans awarded you "F" for that failure.
 
Your Excellency, you practice open nepotism and favoritism in every appointment you make. Ministries of Education, Finance, Defence and  Internal Security and lucrative parastatals,etc are invested by your tribesmen. In short, your tribesmen have taken over everything of value and have for that reason made other tribes hate them and see you as master of nepotism and favoritism.
 
Your Excellency, you have claimed many times that the economy has grown and are therefore satisfied that country is on the right direction economically. How has the said economic growth benefited the ordinary folks? A loaf of bread and a packet of maize meal are more expensive today than when you came to power five years.How would any layman understand economic growth when he cannot put food at the table? What is growth to an ordinary person if she/he cannot eat well?
 
During the current clashes in the country, you chose to evacuate your tribesmen and no one else. In Eldoret, Kericho, Many parts of Nakuru, Nairobi, Mombasa, Busia, Kakamega,Kisumu and many other cities, Kikuyus alone were give first and only priority while Luos ,Luhyas, Kalenjins and Kisiis were forgotten. Your government was defeated in the election because of such practices and we believe you never change and therefore does not deserve recognition.
 
Your Excellency, you don't deserve a second chance. You can use force to remain in power but your stay will cause more harm than good in the long run.
