to blame?
Dear fellow Kenyans, Like many of you, I am really troubled by the events back home. From day one, I have pled with the good Lord to judge justly and rescue His people. As you might be aware,I spend alot of hours daily searching, reading, re-reading, and analyzing every single information from Kenya. Despite all these, I must faithfully read my Bible every single day for comfort, encouragement and spiritual uplifting. In my reading today,I was touched by a story found in John 9:1. It begins, "As He went along, He saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" Jesus' answer dispelled the notion that such misfortune came as a result of ones sinning. If you want to know more, then please get yourself a book known as Desire of Ages, by Ellen G. White. This story has raised so many genuine questions that beg for some answers. I will appreciate genuine answers free as much as possible of politics. Some of you have done an excellent job in updating us of the situation on the ground and by even sending very touching pictures that I must admit have triggered tears out of my eyes non stop. As our people try to find the solution, I have found myself asking the following questions.
There has been a feeling that pastors take care of the flock and leave politics alone. Much as I agree with that, I find it hard to pretend to be at peace when in fact God's children are suffering due to the break of the law. As Christians, let us help find the solution by pointing out that which divide us. I love all Kenyans and pray daily that we forgive one another and live together peacefully again. The way to start is by willing to sort out the problem. Have a blessed day.
