I
am disappointed by the manner in which some senior Government political
leaders
have been making claims like irresponsible journalists.
I
believe our Government could strive to be competent as it has almost
all
information pertaining to this Plant. The Government could undertake an
in
depth and balanced study on its origin and viability, promotion,
capitalization, ownership, implementation, why it stalled, the sale
process
etc, to ascertain if indeed, the Odinga Family has grabbed, considering
the
circumstances of the Takeover. If these wild claims could be proved,
not
politics, I would be in the forefront to fight for the rights of the
taxpayers.
If the fame of the Odinga Family is being maliciously misconstrued to
create
hegemony, then the Odinga Family could be eliminated, but the budding
Kodiembo
Team shall be unstoppable. The saga surrounding the Plant clearly
indicates
hatred for the community, and its extinction.
The
late Jaramogi Oginga Odinga assisted in promoting the defunct Luo Union
East
Africa. I consider it an opportune time to start the Luos
Around the World (LAW).
That would address the numerous problems Luos are facing in Southern
Sudan,
Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, Europe, USA and other parts of
the
world. Our brother, the Senator candidate, Illinois State, USA, Mr.
Barack
Obama, Ja Kogelo, Abuoga Dhi=Dhi (a man from the Ogelo clan, Abuoga
Go=Go), as
the first Leader of the ‘Lawyers’ (Jo
Bura, Jo Yalo), assisted
by the various National Luo Council of
Elders (NLCE). It could be headquartered in Kisumu City, Kenya.
The USA
Team could create and manage its website and e-mail address. I would
volunteer free creative and proactive
ideas in a modern fashion. LAW could be our strategic capability.
